“If you are into serious wild water and willing to drive another couple of hours, I strongly recommend the Kipawa from Laniel to Lake Timiskaming, 1:50000 31 M/3 “Fabre”. It is a world-class run in high water, and a very challenging technical run in low water (either high or low it is III-V, but mostly IV; in low water skip the dam and put-in downstream at 288135). It is well worth the effort to get there. - Richard Culpeper M.A. |

Thanks for the update webmaster
Hi guys – wow nice web site haven’t visited in a while.
Little Kipawa Drifter news – The Drifter Canoes were taken out of storage this year and give a new paint job by Paul,Cole & Brooke Courchesne.
They were used this year to go on a Canoe Trails program because my son and daughter went with them. This is cole’s 2nd year for which he went on two 1 week trips. This was brookes 1st year and she only went on 1 week this year.
They went with the clubs who actually started the Kipawa Drifters simply because we are no more.
Email me back if you would like to update the drifter news as I was an Orginal member and now my children are folloing in my foot steps.
